IcelanDict was my bachelor thesis project at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich in media computer science. It combines several linguistic resources of the icelandic language into a digital dictionary. The main advantage the application provides to the user is the easy access and overview of the ressources with one single search request. An optimal user experience has been accomplished after having taken didactic and functional requirements for dictionaries and usability aspects into account. After having addressed current issues of existing icelandic dictionaries the concept of IcelanDict has been presented, which eradicates those issues. A concluding evaluation ensured that the results of this work have been implemented successfully and the user is able to use the conveniences of IcelanDict.

This shopping application helps customers to find items via barcode, choose a quantity and add it to their shopping cart. A big part of the project was to include the payment process. A special way of payment creates a new shopping experience with distributed ledger technology. The app includes all steps from adding credit to your account to the final payment.

I'm a programmer from Munich, Germany. I finished my B.Sc. in media computer science at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. I am currently doing my masters degree in computer science at the Karlsruher Institute of Technology. In my free time I am a passionated icelandic horse rider.
